    Olanzapine in the management of cancer cachexia (ACTO)

    Volunteer for research at OHSU and contribute to discoveries that may improve health care for you, your family, and your community!

    The purpose of the study is to compare the effects of investigational drug called olanzapine compared to placebo (a placebo does not contain any active ingredients) in participants with advanced solid tumor cancers receiving systemic cancer therapy experiencing cancer cachexia. We are hoping to find out which is safer, better tolerated, and how participants feel after receiving the study drug.
